Tehran is ready to reinitiate atomic negotiations with the United States provided that it is approached with "dignity" and "honor", Tehran's top diplomat has announced.

Abbas Araghchi said solely negotiations was effective, and revealed new appeals had come from intermediaries to reopen negotiations with the Trump administration. He claimed Iran possessed no unreported enrichment locations, and Iran was not yet able to allow the global atomic watchdog to access bombed nuclear sites for protective measures.

Navigating a Challenging Route

The foreign minister is treading a difficult course since Iran wishes not to be seen to be proceeding from a position of vulnerability, and he emphatically stated that Iran had arisen stronger militarily and mentally from the Israeli-US attack on its enrichment centers in June.

He was talking at a defense forum in Tehran where he reaffirmed that Iran had "an absolute privilege to process nuclear material domestically that it will always maintain" – the primary cause of the stalemate in the earlier negotiations.

Earlier Discussions Abruptly Concluded
